Sacred Path of Love is our flagship annual event that looks at mental health issues through the lenses of the traditional Islamic tradition. Since 2010, many scholars have graced this event - Shaykh Mahy Cisse (Senegal), Shaykh Abdul Aziz Fredericks (Scotland), Dr Omar Mahmood (Qatar), Ustaz Amin Yusoff, Dr Muhammad Mubarak Habib Mohamed, Imam Abdoulaye Ndaw (US), Shaykh Ebrahim Schuitema (South Africa) and many more.

The Sacred Path of Love has changed the lives of many, and provided a deeper understanding on how life issues can be dealt with through emotional, mental and spiritual upliftment.  It is our hope and aspiration that each Sacred Path of Love retreat will continue to serve as a bridge between society and the healing warmth of Divine Love and Light.

On 30 September 2017, Sout Ilaahi launched the #voiceout anti-domestic abuse campaign which aims to start conversations surrounding domestic violence within the Muslim community and to tackle some of the misconceptions about domestic violence in Islam.

This campaign includes a street festival at Bussorah Street, where booths were set up to engage with the community, followed by performances and poetry reading by local artistes.

The finale of the #voiceout campaign was a concert held at Botanical Gardens, with performances by soloists Izaar, Syed Mazhar, Shakirah, Windtree and hosted by Arvind Naidu. We are heartened to see how the people from different communities came together in support of this cause together.
